YY TCM DICTIONARY

Liver Qi Stagnation:

In TCM, Liver Qi stagnation is when the energy or Qi of the liver system does not flow as easily and freely as it should. Liver Qi is largely responsible for the movement of Qi through the entire body and the free flow of blood which provides fluids and nourishment.

Dampness in Spleen:

In TCM, the Spleen is referred to as the collective work of some organs and systems participating in the digestion rather than the anatomical organ spleen.

Although the phenomenon of dampness p can arise because of external weather exposure, it arises more commonly today because of a weakness of Spleen Qi. Dampness generally feels like swelling and heaviness. Physically, this could manifest as muscular aches and pains, such as those encountered in polymyalgia or fibromyalgia.
